If you do, you’re likely in the minority. For most people, it’s a black box — meaning nobody knows how it all works.
I’ve always been interested in this topic, and one of my best read blog posts of recent years, is a small post focused on examining the differences between PRWeb and Marketwire in terms of distribution and delivering web traffic. A recent retweet of the post by @mbaltrusaitis led to a call from Frank Strong, head of PR for Vocus and PRWeb, who wanted to talk. So I fired off nine questions about PRWeb’s differentiators, tips for SEO optimization, and his thoughts on the once-popular “social media press release.” I plan to send similar questions to the other services.
